Bojan Bogdanovic posted 23 points and Dario Saric secured Croatia’s stunning 72-70 win over Spain with a block on Pau Gasol at the buzzer. Mario Hezonja scored five points and drilled a huge 3-pointer at the end of the first half.
Beating the No. 2 ranked team in the world is momentous for Croatia. They showed incredible resilience after trailing by as many as 14 in the third quarter and the team’s balance and depth was on display all night.
