The Orlando Magic have formally announced the schedule for the 2015 Orlando Pro Summer League, which will run July 4-10.
As the Orlando Sentinel reported on Jan. 2, the league has added the Charlotte Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers but lost the Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
To give the league an even number of teams, the Magic will field two squads, a team called “Orlando Blue” and a team called “Orlando White.”
It’s unclear how the Magic will allocate players between their two teams. But Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon, Devyn Marble, the team’s first-round pick (fifth overall) and second-round pick (51st overall) are expected to participate.
