NEW YORK — The Orlando Magic now have completed three consecutive trips to the NBA Draft Lottery during the post-Dwight Howard Era, and the closest the Magic have come to receiving any luck at all occurred on May 21, 2013.
What seemed like a disappointment that night — the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the top overall pick and the Magic receiving the second pick — turned out to be a modest boon for the Magic.
