Chicago Bulls management eager to fire Tom Thibodeau, according to report

As Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports, the Chicago Bulls want to part ways with coach Tom Thibodeau when their season ends. "The end is coming for Thibodeau with these Bulls," says Wojnarowski, who adds that Bulls executives are "obsessed with" ousting Thibodeau, and that they have already identified former Chicago guard Fred Hoiberg as his ideal replacement.

Setting aside for a moment how puzzling the idea of letting Thibodeau go is--he earned Coach of the Year honors in 2010/11 and has guided the Bulls to a 255-139 (.647) record in his tenure--the rumor certainly bodes well for the Orlando Magic, who own one of the NBA's two coaching vacancies after finishing the 2014/15 season with James Borrego at the helm.
