Orlando City defender Rafael Ramos out six weeks with hamstring injuries

Just when Rafael Ramos thought he was in the clear, a quick sprint for the ball took him out of the game — again.

Orlando City’s preferred starting right back will miss up to six weeks with injuries to both hamstrings. His recovery could be quicker, according to a spokesman for the club, but he will miss no more than six weeks.

Injuries have plagued Ramos the past two season, particularly hamstring pulls and strains. The 5-foot-7 Portuguese defender, 22, is known for his passionate play, speed and strength, with bulging leg muscles that rival any player in the league.
