The best high school wrestling tournament in the southeast took place this week at the Silver Spurs Arena and it didn’t disappoint.
The Tigers were strong from top-to-bottom with 10 different wrestlers contributing double digit points to Tuttle’s 215.5 total.
The Kowboy freshman defeated three top-four seeds on his way to a convincing win over the final over the sophomore Washburn. Heap topped Colby McBride 4-2 in the semifinals while Washburn pinned top-seeded Christian Guzman in his semifinal bout.
