CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team has been honored with the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, it was announced Monday.
The Beavers are one of two teams from the Pac-12 Conference honored, along with Stanford, and is the 10 straight year that Oregon State has garnered the prestigious award.
The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that display excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average during the 2016-17 academic year.
