For two years, Oregon State coach Gary Andersen has been selling toughness as the defining characteristic of his program.
That vision came to fruition in the fourth quarter of Saturday's Civil War, as the Beavers outscored the Oregon Ducks 13-0 on their way to a 34-24 victory, ending an eight-year win streak for Oregon in the process.
For Oregon State recruiting targets, the victory was affirmation that Andersen isn't blowing smoke.
