Jesse Sowa of the Corvallis Gazette-Times wrote a good piece about Oregon State athletes Melessa Ausman and Devin Collins heading into OSU's High Performance Meet this weekend.

I think Ausman is an example of what OSU coach Kelly Sullivan is doing right as he rebuilds the Beavers' program.
She is an Oregon-grown athlete who went to Nyssa High School and at OSU has developed into a thrower who just might make it to this year's U.S. Olympic Trials.
