NORTH PLAINS, Ore. – Juniors Conner Kumpula and Kevin Murphy both fired an even-par 71 in the first round of the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club on Sunday to lead the Oregon State men’s golf team at the three-day, 54-hole tournament.
The Beavers shot a 4-over 288 at the par-71, 6,834-yard Ghost Creek Golf Course to sit in 13th place in competitive field that features all 15 teams from Power 5 conferences.
The second and third rounds will be played at the par-72, 7,015-yard Witch Hollow Golf Course.
