CORVALLIS, Ore. – Junior Helen Ann Haun tied her career best and won the pole vault and the middle distance runners shined to lead the Oregon State track & field team on the opening day of the High Performance Meet at the Whyte Track & Field Center.
Haun cleared 12-3.50 to take first place in the pole vault, matching the career-best she set at the Sun Angel Classic on April 9. Gillette Field (11-9.75) was fourth and Annie Sidor (11-3.75) was seventh to give the Beavers a strong start at the fourth annual meet, OSU’s lone home competition of the season.
