Donahue’s Walk Completes Comeback Over Stanford

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Christian Donahue’s walk with the bases loaded in the ninth inning capped a comeback for 10th-ranked Oregon State in a 3-2 victory over Stanford Friday night in front of 3,086 at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

Donahue’s walk on a 3-1 pitch merely completed the ninth-inning comeback, which featured a perfect bunt single and an error on the nation’s top defensive team.

Logan Ice battled, and laced a 3-2 single to right field to open the inning. He advanced to third when, Trever Morrison, who attempted a sacrifice bunt, reached when Stanford reliever Colton Hock bounced a throw to center field.
