CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Athletics is proud to announce that softball's Chance Burden and baseball's Zak Taylor have been named the March Scholar-Athletes of the Month.
Burden, a sophomore from Huntington Beach, Calif., has started in 11 games this season in left field. Burden has recorded one double, one RBI and one sacrifice hit to help the Beavers start the 2019 season with a 12-4 record. She also went 2-for-3 and scored one run against Seattle U to help OSU capture a 6-4 victory at the Kajikawa Classic. Burden carries a 3.
