CLEMSON, S.C. – The Oregon State Women's Varsity 8 won the B Final at the Clemson Invitational and was voted as the regatta's "Breakout Boat" Saturday evening.
The Beavers finished the regatta ninth out of 20 teams in a field that included eight ranked teams.
OSU's V8, which was powered by Alina Hagstrom, Olivia Ashby, Mimi Ballinger, Eliza Adams, Paige Phillips, Katie Descheemaeker, Abigail Watts, Scout Sutton, and coxed by Heather Thompson, raced to fifth and third place finishes in heat racing that took place on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
