REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – The No. 19 Oregon State men’s rowing team finished the weekend with a Sunday sweep over Hobart and UC Irvine at the Stanford Invitational in Redwood Shores, Calif.
Oregon State’s Varsity 8 crew recorded a pair of wins over the weekend at Redwood Shores defeating University of San Diego and Hobart College. The Beavers’ first race Saturday resulted in a solid win as the V8 covered the course in a time of 5-minutes, 57.1-seconds, coming in 13 seconds ahead of the Toreros. Sunday morning, the Beavers were back in the winner’s circle with a strong sprint to the finish with a time of 5:49.
