KONA, Hawai'i – The Oregon State women's golf team got off to a great start at the Pac-12 Preview on Monday and sits in fourth place in a field that includes seven nationally-ranked teams.
The Beavers shot a 5-over 297 in the opening round and a 16-over 308 in the afternoon to finish the day with a 21-over 605 at the par-73, 6,372-yard Nanea Golf Club.
No. 3 Stanford leads the two-day, 54-hole tournament with an 8-over 592, while No. 20 Arizona State and No. 30 Arizona are tied for second with a 10-over 594.
