Beavers Edged In Extras

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The sixth-ranked Oregon State baseball team dropped a 3-2 decision to Washington in 12 innings Sunday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

The Beavers took the three game series by virtue of wins Friday (10-1) and Saturday (5-4). The series victory was Oregon State’s sixth straight at home over the Huskies.

Trevor Larnach went 2-for-5 in the loss, recording his first multi-hit effort of the season. He drove in the game’s first run in the fifth, then watched as Michael Gretler’s pinch hit single in the sixth pushed OSU (19-7 overall, 5-4 Pac-12 Conference) to a 2-0 lead.
