CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's soccer team dominated the majority of the match, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw in their season opener against DePaul Friday evening at Paul Lorenz Field.
The Beavers held an 18-10 edge in shots, including a 15-3 advantage in the second half and overtime.
"I thought we were second-best for the first part of the game, but I think the guys found themselves after that," said Oregon State head coach Steve Simmons. "I think the lesson we take away from tonight is that we need to be more complete.
