Former Oregon golfer and 2016 NCAA individual champion Aaron Wise secured a PGA Tour card Sunday with a 16th place finish at the WinCo Foods Portland Open.
Wise finished 18th on the Web.com Tour regular season money list and was one of 25 players to gain PGA Tour status for next season.
"It's always kind of been a dream ever since I started playing golf as a little kid," Wise said. "It's just been really cool and you never think it will come to fruition so for it to actually happen and for me to go to the PGA Tour, it's something I'm very grateful for.
