EUGENE -- Matthew Centrowitz addressed a number of subjects Friday in a Prefontaine Classic news conference.
Centrowitz talked about the positive doping test of Kenyan star Asbel Kiprop, running in Eugene in general and in the Pre Classic in particular, and his favorite race at Hayward Field.
In case you're curious, his favorite race at the historic stadium came during the 2011 U.S. Track & Field Championships.
"That was my first U.S. championships win," the ex-University Oregon runner said. "I had everyone here, my family and friends, watching. Believe it or not, that was the first night I ever went out partying in Eugene.
