The men's 3,000 meters is expected to feature Olympic silver medalist Paul Chelimo, who ran away with the 5,000 at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, and two-time Olympian Lopez Lomong, both representing the Portland Pulse, and two-time Olympian Donn Cabral, running for the New York Empire.
Lauren Johnson, fourth in the USATF Outdoor 1,500 final, and former Camas High star Alexa Efraimson, who was fifth, are expected to tangle in the women's 1,500.
