The Oregon Ducks were able to get back on Offensive track following a series loss last weekend against the UCLA Bruins, their first Pac-12 Series loss since 2013. Oregon took a two game winning streak on the road against Oregon State and made it three straight and also notched their 30th overall win of the season. Cheridan Hawkins won the opener following a disastrous opener last weekend against the Bruins.
Hawkins scattered 5 hits over 7 innings giving up one run and striking out 10 Oregon State Beavers on Friday afternoon in Corvallis. Oregon found early Offense with a run in the second inning and two runs in the third as Danica Mercado hit a home run down the left field line.
