Oregon Ducks Starter Cole Irvin did not have a good outing. He hit two batters and allowed a walk giving the Bruins a 2-0 lead. He allowed three runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings on Friday night. Both Ducks Starters for the series on the road have been tagged with losses. Oregon will look to David Peterson to salvage a game in the three game set on Saturday afternoon.
The Oregon Offense, which was potent last weekend and had multiple 10+ hit games was held to just four hits against UCLA in Game 2. A.J. Balta did his best to bring Oregon back with a rally in the 8th, but the Bruins were ready in the bottom of the inning with a run and won the game 4-3.
