Mario Cristobal writing up spring prescriptions as Ducks move into 2nd week of practice

EUGENE -- Mario Cristobal seemed excited, even as his breathe turned visible while giving his weather forecast.

It's supposed to get to 68 degrees later today, the coach said, surrounded by reporters in various dress of sweatshirts, hats and coats. Cold didn't bother the coach, certainly not with that potential.

Monday marked the fourth practice this spring under the Cristobal regime, and it was quick to tell that it was an important one for the Ducks. With 2018's new spring schedule -- two weeks of practices before two weeks off before resuming in April -- Cristobal wanted his Ducks to hit the ground running here at the start of the week with the hope of getting "80 to 90 percent" of the playbook fully installed by the end of practice on Wednesday, the Ducks' last practice of the week.
