Live updates: Willie Taggart introduced as Oregon Ducks coach Thursday morning

EUGENE -- Willie Taggart will hold his first press conference since being named Oregon's new head football coach Thursday at 11 a.m. PT at UO's football headquarters, the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex.

Taggart, 40, is 40-45 seven seasons as a head coach at Western Kentucky and South Florida. The Bulls won a program-record 10 games this season under Taggart, who was 24-25 with USF in four seasons, but won 17 of his last 21 games in Tampa.

Taggart arrived late Wednesday in Eugene and spoke briefly with reporters from The Oregonian/OregonLive (video below), saying he was "excited" to be in Eugene.
