BOULDER, Colo. – The Oregon volleyball team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to take down Colorado in five sets, Saturday at the Coors Events Center, 22-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19, 15-11.
How It Happened: When Oregon needed a leader in the deciding set, the team looked to senior Martenne Bettendorf who put down six of the Ducks’ 13 kills during the deciding frame. The surge came in the final 10 points as Oregon closed out the match on a 9-5 run, with the final three kills coming from Bettendorf.
In each of Colorado’s set wins during the first and third sets, the two teams were inseparable as neither team led by more than three points.
