Ducks Shine in Women's Sprints, Men's Mile on Saturday

The sprints group for the Women of Oregon enjoyed another very productive day at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational in Albuquerque, and the Men of Oregon placed four runners under 4 minutes in the mile at the Husky Classic in Seattle as the Oregon track and field program wrapped up its split-squad weekend on Saturday.

The Ducks were able to move into NCAA qualifying position in a number of different events across both meets over the weekend, and will now get ready for postseason action with the MPSF Championships up next on the schedule (Feb. 23-24).

How it Happened – Don Kirby: Sophomores Makenzie Dunmore and Hannah Waller both ran personal-bests and moved themselves into NCAA qualifying position, with Dunmore winning the 60 meters in 7.
