EUGENE – The Oregon lacrosse team earned 15 selections to the 2016 Mountain Pacific All-Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday. It marks the most Ducks named to the MPSF academic squad in a single season in program history.
Three seniors garnered the honor for the third straight season, including standout defender Ali Scharkey with a cumulative 3.72 GPA. Also earning their third straight all-academic selections were Katie Marlatt (3.70) and Holly Johnson (3.36).
Senior Jenna Morris received her second straight selection with a 3.18 GPA after starting all 17 games in goal for the Ducks this season.
