HONOLULU – The Oregon women's soccer team closed out the trip to Hawaii with a 2-1 win over Gonzaga on Sunday afternoon at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium. With the win, the Ducks move to 1-0-1 on the 2016 season.
"It's great to walk away from the weekend undefeated," said head coach Kat Mertz. "We started strong once again with a nice goal by Jayne Lydiatt assisted by Marissa Everett. We moved the ball well and kept the tempo high. Although I'm disappointed we gave up a goal, we finished the game strong.
