Springfield, Mo. – Austin Grebeck, Scott Heineman and Mark Karaviotis combined for nine hits, nine runs scored and five RBI to lead No. 3 Oregon to a 12-6 win over No. 4 Canisius in a loser’s out game at the Springfield Regional on Saturday.
How It Happened: Oregon (38-24) jumped on Canisius (34-30) early with four runs in the top of the first. Heineman gave Oregon the early lead with a two-run double to left center that scored Grebeck and Phil Craig St. Louis. Shaun Chase followed with a two-run homer to give Oregon a 4-0 lead.
