#22 Oregon softball’s season came to an end in a predictable, but no-less heart breaking, fashion on Sunday when the Ducks dropped their second game to the Sooners on their home field. The 3-2 victory kept #2 Oklahoma’s hopes for a third consecutive national championship alive.
Elise Sokolsky started in the circle for Oregon and struggled from the beginning. In the first inning Oklahoma had two base hits and brought home a runner on a sacrifice fly. The Sooners got a double in the second inning that brought home a runner who Sokolsky had hit with a pitch.
