EUGENE, Ore. - Koral Costa and Cheridan Hawkins have each been named academic All-Americans, the Collegiate Sports Information Director of America announced Thursday.
Costa, who currently leads the Pac-12 with a .424 batting average and sports a 3.71 GPA in cinema studies, was a first team selection while Hawkins, who boasts a conference-best 1.88 ERA and a 3.82 GPA in family and human services, was a second team choice.
Hawkins is a three-time academic All-American after earning third team honors as a sophomore and first team honors last year. She was the first in program history to be named an academic All-American twice and is now the first to be named three times.
