Oregon’s alumni baseball game will be held Friday, the annual chance for program paterfamilias George Horton to welcome familiar faces back to PK Park.
The 2016 roster will take on a team of alumni at 3:30 p.m., with fans invited to attend. John Keller, shortstop for the Ducks’ 1954 College World Series team, is among the older alumni who planned to participate, though most of the group will be players from the program’s reboot since 2009.
“It’s great for me, because I love those kids,” Horton said. “They chose to come up here and get this program started.
