Shaun White settlement reached in female drummer's lawsuit

SAN DIEGO — Olympic gold medalist Shaun White has reached a settlement with the former drummer of his rock band after she sued him last year and accused him of sexual harassment and breach of contract.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Lena Zawaideh, the drummer, had claimed that White had made vulgar sexual remarks to her and forced her to watch “sexually disturbing videos, including videos sexualizing human fecal matter.”

White, the snowboarder and skateboarder, vigorously contested the suit and in February tried to compel Zawaideh to undergo a mental health examination after she claimed she suffered emotional and mental distress because of what happened.
