Lindsey Vonn third in La Thuile super-G

Lindsey Vonn made the podium for the second straight day Sunday, but has now gone four straight speed races without a win.

Vonn took third in a World Cup super-G in La Thuile, Italy, after placing second in a downhill Saturday and crashing out of a downhill Friday.

She came to the Italian Alps with 76 World Cup wins, 10 behind record-holder Ingemar Stenmark, and leaves on the same number.

On Sunday, Vonn was slower than winner Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein at every split time and ultimately by .64 of a second at the finish.
