In an utter blow out of the Nigerians, Team USA set several records in what was a commanding victory for the Americans.
To start, Carmelo Anthony had 37 points and was 10 of 12 from behind the 3-point arch. Team USA set an Olympic record for most points in a half with 78, and set an Olympic record for most points in a game with 156. Additionally, this hungry USA team set another Olympic record, scoring 29 3-pointers in all.
