NORFOLK, Va. -- In front of a record crowd of 8,563 on the sixth annual Education Day, the Old Dominion women's basketball team cruised to a 82-56 victory over Dartmouth on Wednesday at the Ted Constant Center.
Jennie Simms paced Old Dominion (3-2), netting a season-high 35 points to go along with 10 rebounds and five assists, while Destinee Young recorded her fourth double-double in five games with 10 points and 13 boards.
ODU and Simms, who scored ODU's first 10 points, jumped out to a 19-4 lead in the first seven minutes of the game.
