On Sunday afternoon, it was officially announced that ODU football will be playing against their former Conference USA rival, Western Kentucky, in the Famous Toastery Bowl. The game is scheduled for Monday, December 18th at 2:30 p.m. and will be held at Jerry Richardson Stadium on the campus of UNC-Charlotte. It will be broadcast on ESPN. This will be the second bowl game appearance for Old Dominion under the leadership of head coach Ricky Rahne.
WKU and Old Dominion have faced each other seven times in the past as members of Conference USA.
