Mpnarchs' Moundir loses in first round of NCAA men's tennis championships

Adam Moundir, the first Old Dominion men's tennis player to qualify for NCAA singles tournament play in eight years, lost Wednesday in the first round at the University of Georgia.

Moundir, a junior ranked No. 53 nationally, lost to the No. 2 seed and No. 6 ranked Nuno Borges of Mississippi State 6-3, 7-5.

Moundir, the Conference USA Player of the Year the past two years, finished the season 17-5 in dual matches.
