MACON, Ga. – Natalie Ledwitz has been named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. The award is the first of Ledwitz’s career as the Lady Monarchs went 2-0 in the opening weekend of the 2017 season.
Ledwitz recorded two goals for two points, collected five ground balls and four draw controls while forcing a team-high six turnovers in the two opening games for the Lady Monarchs.
The Port Washington, New York native collected three ground balls and caused three turnovers in the season opener at VCU on Wednesday, Feb.
