NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team earned a convincing 19-2 victory over VCU on Saturday afternoon at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The Lady Monarchs are now 7-2 for the first time since 1980, matching the best nine-game start to a season in program history.
"I am really excited about today," said head coach Heather Holt. "We came out strong right away and I think that that was the key to the game. We really set the tone early to have a fast game and then kept our pace up the whole game.
