Ohhhhh Thayer!
The much-maligned “reporter” of the Oklahoma State “scandal” a few years ago is back at it. This time at UC-Davis. Awful Announcing had the tale, and it does not make Thayer look very good.
Thayer reported that UC-Davis’ head coach was fired. Then UC-Davis tweeted at him and called the entire thing a “fabrication.” Then Sports Illustrated pulled the story entirely!
Then this happened.
SI has reported that UC Davis has fired HC Ron Gould. UC Davis just emailed me. They aren’t happy. Per UC Davis, SI report is fabrication.
