Starting Texas OL suspended for Oklahoma State game

The Texas Longhorns will be short-handed this weekend in Stillwater.

It was announced today that Kent Perkins, the Longhorns’ starting right guard, would be suspended for the Oklahoma State game. The suspension came down after Perkins was arrested on a DWI charge.

In an already-thin offensive line for the Longhorns, this could potentially be a big loss for Texas. Oklahoma State will need all the help they can get while trying to stop the Texas run offense, and this should be a little boost for the Cowboys.
