The Cowboys lose another close one, falling to the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks 90-85 on Senior Day. It was a rough day to send off Seniors Leyton Hammonds and Phil Forte, but the Jayhawks were just too much for Oklahoma State on Saturday night.
In the first half, Oklahoma State was down by as many as 12 points. After that, the offense got to work going on a 8-0 run, and at the end of the half it was 40-43 Kansas.
In the second half, Kansas’ offense simply wore Oklahoma State down. The Cowboys tried their best going 16-36 from the arc and 7-20 from the 3-point line.
