The Cowboys couldn’t pull off the same result as the last time they played ORU Tuesday night. Silent bats caused the Pokes a 4-1 loss in the added midweek game.
The Golden Eagles struck first with Nick Roark hitting a double for a RBI in the third inning to make it 1-0 for the home team. Then in the fourth, Brent Williams lined out to center field for another RBI that increased the ORU lead to 2-0. The Golden Eagles added to the damage in the fifth with Noah Cummings hitting a 2-RBI single to make the score 4-1.
