The country’s best runners will compete at the 2021 NCAA DI Cross Country Championships in Stillwater at the OSU Cross Country Course on Monday.
OSU cross country coach Dave Smith and his squad were supposed to host the race in the fall, but COVID-19 delayed those plans.
On the men’s side, No.1 ranked BYU looks to defend its national title from 2019, but No. 2 Northern Arizona, beat BYU and OSU at the OSU Invitational in October.
“In my 20-years plus of coaching NCAA, I think it’s the most challenging, hilly course that we’ve had,” BYU coach Ed Eyestone said.
