With winning on hold since late December, the Cowboys finally celebrated again Saturday, 83-64, at Texas Tech, giving coach Brad Underwood his 100th career victory in the process.
Reaching the milestone in his 122nd game, Underwood becomes the 10th-fastest men's basketball coach to reach 100.
For Underwood, however, it was two other numbers he was most focused on.
“I'm more excited that we got No. 1 and No. 11 on the year,” Underwood said, referencing the Cowboys' first Big 12 win and their 11th win of the season overall. “Wins are based on good administration, good people, really good staff and really good players.
