With loads of recent success recruiting Denton, Texas, in recent years, Oklahoma State went back to the north Texas town for a prospect on Sunday.
Grant Mahon, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound junior defensive end from Denton Guyer, announced his commitment to OSU on Twitter. To date, the Cowboys are the only offer the three-star recruit holds.
He becomes the third commitment in OSU’s 2020 recruiting class, along with Plainview offensive lineman Eli Russ and DeSoto, Texas, defensive back Jabbar Muhammad.
The Cowboys have 15 commitments in the 2019 class, and are still looking for another defensive lineman or two in that group to go with the four already committed.
