The Oklahoma State defensive end earned Big 12 defensive player of the week honors for the third time this season after his performance at Texas Tech on Saturday. Ogbah recorded a sack, two tackles for loss and seven tackles in OSU’s 70-53 win.
He has recorded at least a half sack in every game this season, and has nine total on the year, which ranks fourth nationally.
James Washington, a player not so familiar with the national spotlight, also earned honors this week. Washington was named Big 12 offensive player of the week after a career-high 200 receiving yards against Texas Tech.
