There was no discussion about who was going to pitch for the Cowgirls on Thursday afternoon.
When OSU softball coach, Kenny Gajewski, came to assistant coach, John Bargfeldt, to talk about who would be in the circle to start the Big 12 Softball Championship quarterfinal game, it was very brief.
“I wanna go to Kelly,” Gajewski said to Bargfeldt, before the pair quickly agreed over their starting pitcher.
“Okay, done deal,” Gajewski said.
Safe to say, the Big 12 Co-Pitcher of the Year didn’t disappoint, as she led OSU (2) to a 2-0 victory over Kansas (7).
